Living in the Garden of Holland

What we Dutch take for granted but what is frankly special is the small scale and compact nature of our country.

All possible landscapes are located closely together. This means that you can walk straight into town from the doorstep of the school building, but forests and meadows are also close. In two hours’ time you drive across the country from east to west. Yet there are 17 million people in our country.

The favorite means of transportation of students and many other Dutchmen is the bicycle. The bicycle means freedom to go wherever and whenever you want.

Garden of Holland
Het Noordik is located in Twente, an area on the eastern border with Germany. This area is also called the Garden of Holland. It is pure enjoyment to live, learn and work here.
